"Following the song." There was a time I used to say that a lot. Good ol' days with a good old friend... To follow the song is the same as letting the stream take you wherever it must. The opposite of that is to think about things and make reasonable decisions, which may be good and may be bad. The risk, of course, is to overthink. If you are likely to overthink everything, then you should think about following the song once in a while. But if you think about don't thinking too much, aren't you thinking already? (G.P.)
